>>21505431We told you niggers, anyone who's played competitive since gen3 remembers the days before offense was strong and crocune was the biggest piece of shit in the world.
Now we get a fucker who is tanky enough to survive the power creep, and cannot be critted.
But NOOO, LOL SHELL ARMOR SUX, REGENERATOR BEST ABILITY EVER ITS A NERF.
Anyways, megamence will be quickbanned. Megabro might get a suspect test, but you can always roar him like any slow defensive setup so its not like he's without counters. M-Latias is retarded good and might end up banned, another gen 3 calm mind set returns. I like that megas are making defensive play more viable again.
Swampert is a Kabutops that trades a little power for massively increased bulk, better coverage and better typing, which makes him top tier OU material again, just like the good ol' days. Diancie is pretty cool too, haven't tried her too much but looks promising.
Sceptile, Lopunny, Gallade, Altaria and Metagross will likely linger around BL and the bottom of OU. M-gross is probably the most underrated mega by /vp/.
Sableye, Beedrill and Sharpedo will end up towards the top of UU. Glalie and Camerupt will be towards the bottom, maybe in BL2. M-Camerupt is actually a very strong trick room sweeper though.
Pidgeot, Steelix, and Audino will be RU or BL2. Not much to say about them, Pidgeot has nothing but hurricane spam, Steelix is only really uniquely good at running curse/gyro ball.
Audino actually does have a funny niche though, you can run Klutz on the base form with skill swap and skill swap it to other low tier megas, which prevents them from mega-evolving. Also fairly good at running calm mind sets. I feel it's the most overlooked mega but also probably the best of the clearly sub-UU megas.
