Im on Costa Rica, a place with NO Gamestop whatsoever

Im missing a great chance thanks to gamefreak and their fetish with Gamestop

Since it's a small town and we kiss our cousins down here it's been one of the flavors of the month. This guy isn't even black his mom is like from panama or something, he's a few years younger so I'm not sure, but it's dumb. How do you know the codes would be harder to obtain, that's just an assumption. Gamefreak could easily distribute them in another chain or even online.
