How can I tell if a pokemon I like is total Furbait?

Is there a formula or something?

My judgement is that if it's been shipped with or fucked by Lucario, it's furry trash

Post the Pokemon on /v/ and use that for your judgement. That's how I learned how big a furbait Lucario is.

I guess I'm safe from the furry menace.
Damn that's something I'm happy to be away from.
Adding onto this it's feminine Pokémon (e.g. Lopunny, Gardevoir, Mawile, Mienshao) and Pokémon that can be associated with a fetish (e.g. Goodra, slime and vore; Mawile, loli and vore; Blaziken, dom, etc I'm not listing them all.)

Considering the fact it's in the human-like egg-group Beheeyem doesn't have a large following if any. But that may be because it's not based on an animal per se like Eeveelutions.
Neither Heatmor, an anteater Pokémon with a sort of anthropomorphisism about it has a following probably because it's shit..

The "furry" concept is somewhat diffuse, and is confused a lot with some kind of "fantastic anthro-bestiality", which, for me is a concept a bit different from furry, whose clear definition I don't even know for sure. Etymologically if I like to pet rabbits I'm a furry.
But many different things appear if we put fantasy world in. Animals capable of thinking, of any size and form, including human-like. You may like that idea and (at least I think) that's the most accepted definition of "furry", including even reptiloid creatures without any fur like dragons, snakes or such.
In this board I've seen that "furry" carries a negative connotation due its rather usual connection with sexual or fetish themed art, but does "furry" imply that?

So, what's a "furry" then?

Furry is a fetish, so it is in fact inherently sexual. Most of the negative connotations come from the fact the furries historically loved shoving their fetish down everyone's throat and demanding to be "accepted," particularly by the people who think it's anything other than a fetish(typically they believe it's just liking animal people like Bugs Bunny).
