I just finished breeding a Piplup in Diamond. IVs are not perfect, but usable (28 HP, something 20+ Def, 31 SpD), currently training it (which is a pain in gen 4 if you are used to gen 6.)

Did this for a Defog/Stealth Rock/Roar/Scald set.

Going to start gathering the right materials before I start breeding, but I'm going to breed a thematic team of lizards with appropriate Poke Balls to incase them with. A safari ball for Sceptile, and a Dive Ball for Feraligatr, for example.

Your chances of a legit one are pretty much zero. If you spent a whole evening breeding one penta, you could've bred that and several other things if you just had a hacked 6IV one. I suppose you could RNG abuse if you knew how though.

1- Bagon: Hexaperfect, Jolly female with Hydro Pump.
2- Buneary: Hexaperfect and shiny. Male tho
3- Shroomish: Pentaperfect careful and shiny. Can't believe I got this.
4- Fletchling: Hexaperfect, careful and shiny. Took me fucking weeks of RNG abuse.

My starter team for ORAS, the rest I plan to either come across or breed in ORAS.

It means you have all the relevant 31s in the stats. So, a pentaperfect Gastly would have everything but Attack since it's a Special Attacker.

I just finished breeding for a 5IV Modest Ghastly in a Moon Ball. I use KeySAV to find people who will hatch it for me, so it hatches shiny and then I get it back from them.

This was me telling the Shiny Gengar event to go fuck itself.

I now have a box full of 4 or 5 IV female ghastlys in moon balls, so yeah. I plan to wonder trade them, but since this is a breeding thread, I wonder if any of you guys have interesting breeding rejects you'll trade for them.

I got the Shiny charm, though. That's just what I got in XY. I got a Tentacool way back in DPPt at... I think it was ~725 eggs.

Just keep at it. I'm back on the Scyther ride cause I haven't even gotten a decent IV one yet because of just freakin' starting. Yeesh. Not sure what I'll do after that. Maybe Kecleon. I've been interested in trying him out.

I largely made my own luck. Been working on a living dex since Gen IV, updating it through V and VI. Just transferred and banked 'em into X and got the Shiny Charm easy peasy.

I also decided to try out Y on Japanese, partially to try and brush up on the language and partially to breed 7 Japanese Hexaflawless males covering all the breeding groups. Seems to have worked out. Guess it is by file language now, not the actual country the cartridge was made for.

All this to say I already invested by autism for years. I'm just seeing great dividends now.
