anyways, 170/160 offenses are nothing to scofle at. Neither Landorus wants to switch into a Hoopa-M. Only time Landorus is switching into Hoopa is for revenge.

dont forget about power creep

Skarmory only had to worry about Brick Break and Cross Chop in terms of tanking fighting moves for Blissey

Now it has to worry about all these High Base power moves with Life Orb such as CC and HJK as well as Flare Blitz.

I've been running Adamant Mega Aero since last November and only fearing being outsped by Mega Manectric but now more things are popping up with 135 base speed and higher. The new guys like Mega Sceptile can't really OHKO Mega Aero on their regular sets, but it's still going to be outsped and eat a chunk of damage.

I've been using a Chansey/MSlowbro/Chesnaught core in ORAS OU and very, very little is able to break it, it's crazy. Like this is all I can think of/have lost to:

-Mega Gardevoir
-Mega Heracross
-Grass Knot Mega Metagross
-Taunt Sludge Wave Gengar
-SD LO Bisharp with a helping of Iron Head flinch hax
-Gothitelle god fucking dammit this thing is unadulterated cancer

That's seriously it, and Doublade walls half of that stuff.

Knock off does full damage as long as the opponent is holding an item, so it always does full damage to megas. Unless you're counting on the defense drop, knock off will be more useful.

No, it doesn't. Mega Stones are unremovable items and are ignored by Knock Off etc., but are accounted for by Frisk, Unburden, and Acrobatics.

The only way Knock Off can hit a single target more than once at full power is if they have Sticky Hold or re-gain an item through Trick, Harvest, Recycle, etc.

It's cancer in that it takes zero thought to use. Shadow Tag and trapping in general is like not allowing your opponents to move in a FPS, switching is an integral part of doubles.

There's plenty of dedicated wallbreakers and stallbreakers that are effective and more viable against offense than Gothitelle, but people take the easy route for which there's practically zero good counterplay available to any sort of defensive team.
