You could say it can setup it can go to +2 as you switch into it, etc, but there's also the fact that the opposing Pokemon can be beaten by Sucker Punch, but if Mawile doesn't use it, then said Pokemon beats it instead, so more than once, the Mawile player will have to go for the safer Sucker Punch play, which is a free switch in. It's not as easy as just click swords dance and win. I've gotten to the top ranks of the ladder of Pokemon Online with it, and dealt against opposing Mawile beating most of them. The thing about it is that if you play well with it, like I did, you are guaranteed one kill for it. The other thing is that as broken as that sounds, at least to me that's kinda the point of Mega Pokemon: To have one thing that can ensure a task you assign to it. For example, Blastoise will get the spin that you want most of the time, Gyarados will have its one chance to setup Dragon Dance if you play it right, and from there good chances of winning.
All in all, my biggest problems with Smogon about this ban is how they kept true easy buttons like Thundurus around from the start, when it never belonged here, with Genesect. And also how it started with like 1 or 2 people crying for it, but since they are badgeholders, everyone else kept sucking their dicks and gone, even though these are the same people that deemed the Focus Punch set as mediocre when you can run Brick Break, and wanted to drop Mawile to A- just a month or two before that, and also that these people don't even play this game, or lose to fucking Chimpact in tournaments.
