Johto is personally my favorite region. However, I agree with the most common complaint I hear about it: The fucked-up level curve.

I'm pretty sure there are some basic gen 4 hacking tools out there. Presumably, these tools would at least be able to edit wild Pokemon and trainer data. So, my question/suggestion is this: What if there was a Drayano-style HGSS hack that left the whole game untouched but for fixing the level balance (and maybe upping the difficulty of some of the gym battles past a mere level increase)? Or, has it already been done (to completion)?

What do you think, /vp/? If such a hack existed, would you play it?
