Lillipup is actually Unova's regional bird, not Pidove, because Pidove can't be found on Route 1, and Patrat is the rodent. It may not be a bird itself, but it's definitively the regional bird.

Taillow. It gets a discount because nothing in Hoenn's route 1 has qualities to be the regional bird. Lillipup has. And Pidove appears much later in BW compared to Taillow in RSE.

Spearow is not a regional bird. Only one regional bird allowed per region. Pidgey is Kanto's regional bird. Spearow is more like... Wingull. or Ducklett. or Doduo.

Starly, Fletchling, Pidgey. Everything else in that picture is pure garbage pokes used by casuals and autists and females for "being cute". And Pidgey was previously pure garbage but now is slightly less since Pidgeot has a mega.
