>>21532923I can't imagine mega evolving being a pleasant experience to the pokemon. Their bodies undergo near-instant, massive transformations, for all of what can be as little as a minute long battle. Then what happens? Its right back to normal. Wouldn't that be painful? And their trainers can make it happen over and over again. Even ignoring the physical pain, wouldn't it be a bummer for them to go from having mega power to their normal power again? To go from immensely kicking butt to possibly barely scraping by against the next opponents because their trainer decided to have them hold something else for whatever reason? This thing just isn't right.
