I've met a few, and nearly all are the same - usually a very casual gamer (if at all anymore), and if pokemon is mentioned, will appear to look cool by blurting out "there are only 150 pokemon" (showing their idiocy in the process), and then proceed to justify it by saying "oh, you know, I played the *original*, so the new stuff is just lame" and generally hipster it out.
