This whole thread has been amazingly shitty and cringe-worthy so here's how it is:
Chesnaught is a physical wall/utility pokemon primarily meant to handle ground, water, rock, and dark type physical attackers. These include:
-Bisharp
-Excadrill
-Lando-T
-Mega Gyarados
-Tyranitar (Mega too)
-Some Garchomp
-Terrakion (check only)
-Kabutops
-Crawdaunt
And some other stuff. As you can see, it also does very well against sand offense. Its ability also allows it to check Mega Venusaur.
Spikes is a good move on it. Defensive spikes stackers (that can afford to run spikes: Spikes Skarmory is shit, for example) are valuable and allow your defensive team to have a more positive matchup against other defensive teams.
Spiky Shield is a great scouting move, and the threat of it alone will make your opponent do weird stuff like use Earthquake on a resist or boost in front of a subbed pokemon, so you can take advantage of that with a set like subseed+2 attacks.
Yes it's weak to birds. SO KEEP IT AWAY FROM BIRDS HOLY SHIT THIS IS NOT HARD. It's like keeping Heatran away from Earthquakes, like fuck you take that into account when teambuilding. Like bring a bird check, Chesnaught is great paired with M-Aero anyway.
It has competition primarily from Ferrothorn as a defensive grass type, however Ferrothorn is unable to handle SD Bisharp, some Excadrill, Low Kick Kabutops, Crawdaunt, Terrakion, and gets more easily worn down by ground types in general. Chesnaught also has Synthesis, though it's not really worth using.
tl;dr you're all fucking stupid.
