Astoundingly, this kind of people exist thanks to bad education system. (Some kids nowadays don't even know that fruits grows on trees.) For most of pokémon it's easy to spot the inspiration, but here they show the precise counterpart even if they chose easily identifiable animal-inspired pokémon; that's what saves it, I guess.
At least they chose to illustrate design from various gens, even if there's a predominence of Gen1.
