lvl 1 aron abuses the AI's tendency to always go for kills when they can. basically, you want mat block greninja (this is also retardedly good in triples). you mat block the first turn, and your other 2 mons can attack (lvl 1 aron uses endeavor). then the next turn you protect with aron- the ai basically always attacks it as they think they can kill it- and attack with greninja+third mon. so that's basically 4 attacks you can get off without even taking a scratch a lot of the time. and then aron needs to be attacked twice in a turn to be killed due to sturdy and replenishing all its health if it attacks with endeavor due to shell bell. so if your other pokemon can finish off enough pokemon so there's only one left, aron lives and you can protect next turn too.

Level 1 Aron to take the most amount of damage possible. Make sure it has Sturdy and a Shell Bell. Do not send it out when it's hailing, against Ghost Pokemon, or when the opposing Pokemon has a damaging priority move.
Turn 1: Select Endeavor.
Turn 2: Select Quick Attack.
Repeat as necessary.

Also Dragonite is pretty good, pair it with Suicune with scald to take care of ice attacks
Slowbro could work too

I got to 220 or so in singles with Dragonite/Greninja/M-Mom

Durant doesn't work quite as well anymore, because opponents occasionally switch under certain conditions now. Durant usually works, but once in a while you'll accidentally switch to a mon who will make them respond with a switch.

Sounds dumb since I'm essentially asking to cheese the game, but can you do it without abusing bugs? I'm guessing some really strong Pokemon like certain Megas could do it, or maybe Grenigga since they can't predict your type changing.

It depends on how far you're aiming. The game goes into Hell Mode around 40, but most decent teams can make it to 50 to get the trophy with a little luck.

this doesn't work like you think it does

anyways fake out is great, and try to avoid stacking weaknesses on your leads. kinda obvious-sounding advice, but it's especially important in doubles maison because it makes the AI more predictable. like if you have 2 rock weak mons leading and you fight an aerodactyl, you don't know which one it will attack. if you only have one rock weak lead, you can be almost certain it will go for that, and you can play around that, most notably with protect.

I have all the trophies, the pokémon I used that I remember were (the ace is first):
Singles/Rotation - Charizard X Greninja Scizor Tyranitar
Doubles/Multi - Charizard Y Scrafty (the partner team was Emboar and Typhlosion)
Triples - Mega Gardevoir Greninja Hydreigon

Pretty standard sets, Tyranitar had an assault vest and Hydreigon an expert belt, the others life orb, leftovers or choice band (except obviously the megas)
