I'm not sure. I liked the design originally, myself. It was a decently designed mon from Gen 4, but the pandering they gave it just ruined it. If they're gonna champion a mon design, don't give it a fucking sleeveless fur vest.

On its own it would've only ended up as popular as Arcanine and Blaziken but nowhere near the Eevees. Gamefreak pushing it hard before Diamond and Pearl were out for long through Riolu egg in DP, playable in Smash, its own film, cameo in PMD and as a show mascot on Pokemon Sunday are the only reasons it got as popular as it did, and they'll continue shoving it down as seen with its high screentime in the BW2 anime trailer, early Riolus in XY and BW2, Pokken, being the first Mega and getting multiple recent episodes featuring it in the anime.

If applicable, I set all Pokemon genders to female on battle sims on the off chance some scrub thinks using attract and captivate will work as a viable strategy. I've seen attract employed, simply because the majority of players on sims will default to male genders for pokemon for whatever reason.

I also set attact iv's to zero on special attackers to circumvent the odd confuse/ foul play tactic. Gotta cover all the bases to win!

so yeah. My Lucario is a grill.

It's a humanoid steel/fighting jackal that can sense and manipulate a power to a degree no other Pokemon is capable of. Also, it had a big role in a movie and did some cool shit in it.
