They say that on a moonlit night, on the Pokemon board of 4chan, you can find a thread called Showderp. A thread with shitposting so terrifying, most who claim to have seen it are unable to even describe its contents.

Well, legend has it that Showderp is an ancient tradition in which an undead trainer, known only as "Champ," rises from the grave to haunt the grounds of Pokemon Showdown. Champ will claim the lives of the first six Pokemon he sees in his /vp/ thread, and leads his undead party into battle against unsuspecting children. They say he is accompanied by an army of ghosts and ghouls who haunt the battle chat with dastardly tricks and frightening shitposts.

Every so often, Champ will tire of this team, and six new sacrifices must be chosen. Some legends even say that the title of undead Champion itself is passed on to another, in an unending cycle of terror.

Come to think of it, looks like the moon's out tonight...
