If they leaked ALL the Megas before release than I would say that's some poor marketing on their half.

1. On one hand we have the entire game script and Hoopa-H which all but deconfirm the existence of more mega evolutions. On another we still don't have a new electric Mega Evolution. Then again considering that Cosplay Cancerchu data appears right between the new Mega Evolutions they might think it is "good enough".

2. Yes, because Mega Evolutions are an important marketing tool for Game Freak, and they need to make sure they don't lose the hype battle with Smash Bros.

GameFreak may appear stupid at times, and make a lot of shitty, dumb mistakes, but this is a bit too out there even for them.

Everything in this picture besides Pikachu is going to get a mega, though mega Raichu would be really cool. So, assumiung Zangoose gets one, that means Seviper must get one as well so that's four new megas at least.

I was able to access images and videos not officially released yet, and these, among other Pokémon that can mega evolve, had: Zangoose, Milotic, Flygon and Hariyama. I repeat, does not mean that they will have a mega evolution, but in the images and videos are along with Metagross and company.

Every single pokemon on that poster has a mega but those (and pikachu), I'm not buying that they're just there because they're from Hoenn. Slaking, Zangoose, and Seviper sure as hell aren't popular, so it's not based on popularity.

I don't really believe there will be anymore new megas but I hope I'm proven wrong because I really want to see Mega Shiftry happen and it seems like a really likely candidate since they gave it Leaf Blade and Hurricane in ORAS and it's shown up in almost every mega trailer.

Why would it matter if it was hidden in the data anyway? Sure, Project Polemon was here, but what if they weren't? No one would be the wiser. So why bother removing Megas from the demo files?

I'm guessing they knew the demo would be datamined, it doesn't really explain why Hoopa's and it's alternate form were left in the code. If I had to guess why they left that in, I'd say they were testing it out and removed the models for it from the code as well as the new megas.

I forget, did they ever find Rayquaza's mega stone in the items list?
