Smogay is shit.
Smogay will never be accepted on /vp/, reddit or other boards.

VGC will always laugh in the face of Smogayites and their Showdown Staff. Always.

There's no exceptions. The only ones who actually post positively are those fags who support Showdown at the VGC and the Fags on Smogay/Smogon.

Yet those of us who do not and are real NuggetBridge Players, you know, the ones who dominate the VGC World Competitions, we don't tolerate it and push against their shittier site/rules/sets.

Randbat is the only format I routinely play nowadays, had just over 2000 elo at one point a couple months back too. I think it's a nice test in finding a win condition in a short space of time and is often a pretty even playing field (unless a player gets free win geomancy Xerneas)

UU is a nice tier.

OU is stale as fuck, NU is ridiculously overcentralized and not particularly balanced (smashpass is annoying as fuck to try and deal with, and sun offense is fucking insane right now), and RU would be a good tier but it's full of complete shitters until you get really high on the ladder so it's not that much fun to play. Plus it's home to all the epic Ambipom spam.

The only problem UU really has is that well-built UU stall is virtually impossible to break right now.

Though I prefer NU, the different Smogon metagames give really interesting different strategies and Pokémon lists. It's bewildering that OU has become the standard one to play when there are others that are more balanced, and others that are less restricted.
