Green means they already have a mega on their line. Red means they don't.

Pikachu is just an irrelevant piece of shit that is on every single promotional art and trailer.

if it was mostly pokemons that can mega evolve maybe, but being such a minority i dont think so.
Wurmple is Hoenn's early bug, Tailow is the regional bird, Wingull is everywhere, Feebas/Milotic is the contest related pokemon, Zangoose and Seviper are kinda "iconic" in a way, Poochyhena's line is used by almost every bad guy, Nosepass and Torkoal are Roxanne and Flannery's aces, Ralts is Wally's pokemon, Bagon and Beldum are the pseudolegends. Swablu and Numel i can't explain without megaevolution. The odd one there is Buneary, i don't know what it's doing there among the Hoenn mons

All are gen 3 except buneary who has a mega and pikachu who has one hinted at by amazon thing. It's interesting at least but yea theyd be giving megas to almost half of hoenn FEs with those.
