It is a lot more robust than I thought it would be. I was expecting being given a paintbrush, an eraser, a color picker, and baby-tier lessons. Instead, there's a bunch of different tools, opacity settings, two layers to work on (just barely enough imo, it's one more layer than I expected but having even just one extra would have been awesome), and an actual attempt to make me learn something. From the standpoint of a beginner, the lessons actually helped me learn stuff, and weren't as easy as I had thought.
I'd say if you like to draw or are interested in learning how, pick it up. Definitely a better tool than you might expect.
