Just picked this up on the 3DS eshop and really glad I did.

This is such a nice little puzzle game and it's really addicting. Plus I fucking love all the remixes of songs from the Gold and Silver OST.

Can't wait for TCG next week.

If it didn't sound like somebody recorded it with a bad microphone in an room that echos then it'd sound pretty good.
A lot of GBC music gets pretty fucked up by the noise instrument.

Yeah, I bought this just to see how that worked on VC or if they just removed it.

Was funny seeing this screen on the VC, though. Makes me wish VC had more options, like selecting between GBC and GB mode (for games that supported both), SGB mode with borders, custom borders, color options, actual multiplayer... VC could be so much better than it is.

You'll probably get it soon. Nintendo of Europe has really been on the ball this gen and you guys have many games that we still don't have, like SMB Deluxe, Game & Watch Gallery 3 (not even Japan has this yet), the Donkey Kong Land trilogy, and Pokemon TCG (though that's coming next week to NA, finally).

I wonder if they're going to bring Pokemon Pinball to the VC.

I own the GBC cart and I still gladly double dip. I used to play this all the time on long distance trips, and now I can do so on the 3DS, no need to juggle multiple systems.

Yeah, I could download it for free--I could download a lot of things for free. But regardless of its age, this is a quality product and I don't mind paying my dues for it. If nothing else, it lets Nintendo know there's still a market for games like this.

Except that the VC European release of TCG is only in English, when the original cartridge was a 5 language one (English/French/Spanish/Italian/German). I don't get it, since the Zelda Oracle games kept the 5-language thing on European VC.

Just because it isn't complex doesn't mean it's shit. Tetris is simpler than all of those games and yet it's regarded as one of the best and most addictive puzzle games of all time.

I personally love all of those puzzle games. Sometimes I don't want complex; I just wanna play something simple to occupy my mind.
