With two 3DS' the one who will sacrifice a shitmon (and gain the clone) initiates the trade. When the trade begins, try to 'synchronize' the trade as close as you can by accepting the deal at the same time with both 3DS, easily done via having one with the L+A configuration.
Once the Pokemon arrives, the screen will go dark. It is very important the the original holder of the Pokemon you want cloned, the one who presumably got the shitmon, is not suddenly confused.
Immediately as the screen goes dark when you receive your Pokemon, begin counting to around 4.5 to 5 seconds, and then shit off the 3DS that sent the prize Pokemon. If you do it correctly, the other 3DS will receive a warning error that something went wrong, about 30-60 seconds after the first one is shut off, and will ask you to reset your 3DS

Actually the other pichu had hp ice too. Because the mom had hP ice, I also hatched an 4iv hP ice electrike a few months ago.

I have this theory that whatever Pokemon you don't release when hatching, your shiny will be that way. Like I release every pichu that doesn't have hp ice and kept the rest in boxes. Same thing with treecko I kept only the ones missing the attack IV and got my shiny that way.

Country doesn't matter, language tag does. The Mudkip could have came from Japan and it wouldn't count if the game was played in English. If there's no language tag on one of the mons in the daycare, MM won't work. It can't be both, only one

~9,683 SRs, I’m becoming kinda superstitious and delirious that it’ll never come because my game was used by a friend with action replay to get a shiny dratini for my other friend. He kept offering to shinify the Cresselia but I refused constantly, I didn’t want anything to do with that. So I’m having paranoid thoughts that him using my game has corrupted it. I hope the paranoia subsides soon by actually coming across it.

I agree, I admittedly waited for another thread to be made before posting, but last week the same thread stayed the entire weekend. Oh well, not like I had anything to report

BTW, how soon will we be able to find out if legendaries in ORAS will be shiny-locked or not? Is there a way to find out? Depending on the legendaries available in ORAS, I will probably do a ton of SRing but I’m scared of doing it on Pokemon that will never be shiny :(

Given the trend of breeding mechanic upgrades, odds are good it'll be even better in ORAS.

Look at what's been given to us in past games:

>Emerald makes it less likely for inherited IVs to overlap, by reducing which IVs can be passed down for each of the three (one could be from any, the second from all but HP, and the third from all but HP and Def) and allows Nature to be passed down (at a 50% chance) if the mother, or ditto, is holding an Everstone
>Diamond and Pearl add MASUDA
>Platinum allows power items to be held to pass down a specific IV and IVs inherited will now never overlap
>HeartGold and SoulSilver allow nature to be passed down from any parent holding an Everstone
>Black and White now allow Everstones to work for foreign parents and the new hidden abilities to be passed down from the mother at a 60% probability
>Black2 and White2 now have nature ALWAYS passed down from an Everstone holding parent and a mother will now pass down her ability at an 80% probability (not sure if that includes hidden, I believe it does not).
>BW2, of course, also introduced the Shiny Charm
>X and Y allow Destiny Knot to pass down FIVE IVs and a Male/Genderless Pokemon can pass down their hidden ability if breed with a Ditto. It also introduces mothers being able to pass down their Pokeball, igniting a new wave of Balltism, and allows the mothers to also pass down egg moves in addition to the father.

Oh, and XY now has a much higher Shiny chance overall. Did I miss anything?
Our quality of life in breeding has vastly improved since Ruby and Sapphire, the first games in the current breeding system, and it has only gotten better which each new game.

Every single one of these games kept the past upgrades, or overwrote them to be even better.

My guesses for ORAS are similar small quality of life upgrades like fathers/genderless mons being able to pass down Pokeballs when bred with Ditto or hidden abilities always being passed down. Things like that.

My longest that I can remember was 725+ eggs using the MM. I might have had one or two longer hunts without the method but I never kept track of my other hunts. I also lost count of the 725+ hunt and haven't felt like counting all the Espurr I banked trying for it. For three shiny Espurr the total was over 1,500 using the MM. I got lucky with egg #2 and got it at 155.

It was just the Gen II, and then HGSS, version of the later nest ball. It had a higher chance of capture the lower leveled the wild pokemon was from you.

What people really want it for is for Balltism related reasons. Matching normal or shiny color schemes, maybe also for the effect when the pokemon comes out in battle. Things like that. It's usually the former, though.

Its a sword from a series called Malazan Book of the Fallen (which is a fantastic fantasy series, I'd recommend it if you want something high fantasy or military focused). Its a sword that chains souls, so they're constantly tugging at an impossibly heavy cart for eternity. Perfect amount of edgy for a dragon.

And I was pretty worried about the nature, I figured Timid would be simplest. Hasty seems like a totally fine choice though, and you have the stats for it.

Willpower, and thinking about how great it'll be to have the shiny once it hatches.
