>>21614862>What's with people trying to make every Pokemon better?A good portion of the fandom is at the age where they mainly play multiplayer, or at the worst Battle Maison/Frontier/whatever (seeing as the story mode is terrible by normal RPG standards.) So, how good a pokemon is is actually important to them, and it's a bummer when your favorite designed pokemon have terrible performance.
I'm not even talking about Luvdisc/Farfetch'd etc. Not everything has to be good, but there are so many pokemon that are a few moves, stat increases or an ability (e.g. Dragalge) away from being at least usable.
The only other alternative is to delude yourself into thinking that your gimmicky shitmons can stand up to a well-built team used by a competent player.
