NetBattle is a Pokemon Battle Simulator. It allows you to create a team of six Pokemon and pit them against another player online.

Yeah. Nobody uses NetBattle nowadays. The only server is deserted.

I'm too much of an oldfag to come up with a decent team for Pokemon Showdown since I quit playing Pokemon after Platinum came out.

Yes, of course. I played thousands of ADV matches back in 2006~2008 and I found Smogon thanks to it. Too bad I lost all my battle logs and teams when my old HD died.
I also remember not wanting to switch to Shoddy because it looked so bad in comparison.

Pokemon Online has the correct mechanics for Gens 1, 2, 3 and some prefer it to showdown for gen 4 battles, although it is noticably less popular than showdown/
