Yes, ice beam is everywhere because there are dozens of things that are super important to pack for that get raped by it due to the typing. That is the number one reason. When ice beam isn't available, do you think people are happy to use the much weaker HP ice just for fucking kicks? He's not talking about coverage at all, he's denying all this and saying "yeah, ice beam is just good because it deals good damage." Then, like I said, why the fuck doesn't Greninja use Hydro Pump instead of Ice Beam? Why do people use Earthquake over Return?
