Greatest moments of my VGC play were beating a guy who was wearing a full and ludicrously expensive fursuit and watching another guy pretty much have a breakdown and be too late in selecting his moves. Both at Nationals.

I've been meaning to go to one but unfortunately I happen to live in the butthole of Europe and the nearest event is in Germany. So for now I have to stick to PGL battle competitions, Battle Spot Doubles and small IRL tourneys.

Had blatantly hacked Pokemon and would constantly ridicule people for certain Pokemon choices. I recall he even regularly mocked Talonflame as a shitmon and wouldn't prep for it.

Then he goes to worlds, gets frozen multiple times in a match (it didn't actually matter much since he was outplayed anyway) and proceeded to lose virtually every single game at worlds. 2 of the losses were even due to said shitmon.

Other than the balls, they were completely within the bounds of possibility for those Pokemon. They don't hack check for balls because ball pairings are aesthetic choices that have literally no bearing on the battle whatsoever. Only assblasted autists looking for a reason to hate more successful players even care about it.

I used to play VGC on Y before I reset my game. I plan on playing VGC on Omega Ruby once it's released. In the meantime I'm just building a Sun Team to test out for when the game is out. So far I have Victreebel, Charizard Y, Garchomp, Rotom W, Scrafty, and Rotom.

I don't count a Dragon on my team to be a reliable counter to another Dragon, especially if it's another Garchomp. HP Ice reassures me that I have some counter to a Dragon while still having Garchomp in the back.

Having said that, I plan on making a specially defensive Garchomp for special dragons and Ludicolos in the near future.

I don't know about AV, but my lum azumarill had 252 HP / 236 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SpD / 12 Spe, Adamant.

The Def lets it lives mmaw's play rough 100% of the time and speed creeps other things speed creeping base 50's.

For AV try calcing against some hits like mman's tbolt, venu's giga drain, ludicolo's giga drain, venu's sludge bomb, charY's solarbeam, etc
