That awful stat spread. Why even put stats on speed, just put it on bulk or offense.

Also,
They're already powerful without megas.

Machamp is horribly outclassed. He needs one. Poor guy hasn't been OU proper since Gen IV.

Conk is fine. It singlehandedly managed to outclass both Machamp and Hariyama in many, many ways.
Hariyama needs one more than either of them, but a special attacking Mega Machamp with No Guard would be acceptable too

If they change No Guard to bypass moves like Protect, King's Shield, Mat Block, etc but not the secondary effects (like reduced damage from K's S) and up the power of Dynamic Punch to 120 BP, then he'll be fine.

Machamp wasn't based on Shiva at all, it has no link to it apart from the amount of arms. It has more in common with Sheeva from Mortal Kombat.

It's just a muscular dude with four arms, it wasn't based on anything. Gen I was weird like that.

Machamp just has one pair of arms but summons dozens of arms/fists made of pure energy when he attacks.

Conkeldurr is already good stat wise so we need to go alternate build instead. So to reflect that, instead of construction materials, Conkeldurr wields a wrecking ball.

I always thought that with the lips and the hair Machamp was more of a reference to kinnikuman, but the "more arms, more strength" Buddhist ideas are still there.

He can go to many interesting places when going mega, either full wrestler, full bodybuilder (with huge power) or full Ashura and turn super saiyan.

Full special attacking no guard mystical machamp like >>21633658 said may be cool, imagine, stab no guard focus blast and fire blast everywhere. And also it may keep the opponent guessing what kind of machamp you have.

Needs to be a bit balanced somehow. Besides, with Close Combat, your only pitfalls are already covered.

This is where they fucked up with Machamp and Conkeldurr. One should have been either specially oriented or defensive, not both with similar stats but one eclipsing the other. Poor Machamp got shafted by Conkeldurr's pillars so hard.
