The Keckleon thing is apparently based on how long you've had the demo downloaded, but it won't happen until you've at least finished the first 10 missions.

And there's no point to it whatsoever.

I had the demo since day 3, but only played a couple times.

I have the US demo and had to change my clock for DST. Now I'm waiting another fucking 15 days.

The secret mission with May isn't time-sensitive, it's easily obtained by soft-resetting and talking to Steven and seeing if his dialogue is any different than the normal missions. If it is, then accept the mission.

The Nugget mission is time-sensitive and Game Freak fucked us over with DST. Along with the 200 potions, it's confirmed that GF hates North America.
