And that's going to be my main problem since pokemon media is spread like wildfire, it's going to be virtually impossible to avoid all of the spoilers.
I guess it's not so much about wanting the game sooner but rather to avoid the spoilers that are only found out through playing the game.

I'm pretty glad because I'm busy at the moment so I won't have time to be spoiled, and ORAS release was my personal deadline for my current work project too.

But yeah, I think the wait seems worse because it's not so far away any more. You're not going to be antsy and excited for 5 months or a year, but just a week really feels pointless in comparison (since it's hardly localisation issues any more).

Yeah, it sorta feels like a revenge against the many shops that released the game early. As far as I was aware, a lot of the Tescos stores and even Game in my area released the game to those who preordered a day or two early, a friend in my class actually got the game from Tesco's a week early.

I'm American so we get the games on the 21st, but I'm probably going to avoid /vp/, Twitter, and a bunch of other sites on the 19th and 20th. Other places will have had the games for awhile by the time it's the 21st here, and I'm blacking out on the 19th just to be safe.
