Watch the point in watching them? I mean who the fuck has time and passion__ to do this? They seem quite popular on twitch.

Also does anyone remember the cancer twitchplayspokemon spawned? Like fish plays pokemon? Or the twitchplayseveryfuckinggame?

Also what does /vp/ think of wifi battlers? Are they ok? I'm waiting for 2015 VGC to really start.

I think TPP was good up until they beat Crystal. And by good I mean the idea of the stream and the story of how the actual game went down. The memeshits that went with it should be genocided.

It was right after they beat Brock and started making those insanity stories that it started going down hill fast.

It got better towards the end of crystal and start of Emerald because the genwunner memeshitters had died down slightly.

The Eevee shit before that was kind of dumb too, but everything up until they passed the Rock Tunnel was fun as fuck.

speedruns are weird in the fact that it isn't about the game but about the run and the record and the different runners competing and blah blah blah, basically for someone on the pokemon comunity these might seem boring but for the people on the speedrunning comunity pokemon streams are quite fun as they have rng and a lot of thinking and not just glitches and optimal route searching.
Shiny hunting is auctistic as fuck, it's just a niche that spergs can enjoy.
TPP was a cool as fuck concept then reddit came and then it went mainstream with babbies crying "wah my memes aren't happening we need easy mode" and the democrazy? mode came to be which ruined the whole thing concept wise.
I see wifi battlers as kinda casuals because it's just showdown with flashy effects and worse opponents unless it's on vgc because that's the only way to play the formats but nobody really does vgc.

Pokemon speedruns are pretty boring because of the overall length and frequent resetting to get a better starter and stuff like that.
Generally speedruns make for good background noise like all other gaming streams.
