>Items rarely felt worthwhileYou could spend hours trying to get the legendary weapons, or you could find a better weapon in a random shop.
>UnfairSave points were few and far between, and encounters were unbalanced, so a random overpowered enemy could set you back 2 hours.
>The backtrackingPros:
>Gorgeous overworld. You had shit like exposed wires, random pieces of machinery. The design team went all out to make it feel like the digital world.
>Great NPCsThey weren't just there to explain how the game worked. It felt like they were coming into Digimon Online from actual lives. I even remember the little subplot of Maniac Jack and his Guilmon. How many games have details like that?
