ITT We make up counters to top OU and overpowered Pokemon. Pic related.

Flying/Fighting
Ability: Bug Catcher (Bug and Flying types cannot switch out manually. Lowers the speed of Pokemon who used bug type moves against this Pokemon by one stage. Stops Pokemon from escaping with U-Turn.)

95/45/120/135/95/101

Can take a Earthquake/Knock Off/Stone Edge/U-turn. Stops Landorus from escaping with U-turn can OHKO with Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Hidden Power Ice etc.

Give it Roost and/or Moonlight so it can come in repeatedly.

Pretty much the only way I could think of to counter Mega-Mence. It also counters nearly every other physical attacker in the game :^)

The problem is that by walling Megamence, you wall most of the rest of the game. It resist every physical type except Rock and Poison.

So what can beat it? Assuming a shit tier coverage movepool:

If you run Rest instead of Roost, it is just an endless stall though.
>Excadrill
Even Choice Band Adamant Moldbreaker EQ isn't a 1 shot 70% of the time.

So that leaves Choiced Special Attackers that aren't weak to Fairy/Electric. Even Keldeo can't oneshot with Specs Hydropump without going modest. This just speaks to Mega-Mence's brokenness.

Counter for Landorus-
Water/Fairy so I resists U-Turn and Earthquake
Ability is Defiant so Lando's intimidate actually makes it stronger.
Give it enough bulk to switch in. Make sure it learns Ice Shard. Don't bother with speed stat, since it wouldn't be able to outspeed scarfed Lando anyway, so make it slow as hell.

Counter to Mega Venusaur-
Make a speedy offensive Fire/Grass type with Mold Breaker and watch that fatass cry when his ability doesn't save him. Grass is so he doesn't get leechseeded when you switch in. Make its other ability something else like so people might think they could tank a hit and retaliate with sludge bomb if you aren't running the mold breaker version. So it would have just enough power to OHKO venusaur if you run Mold Breaker, but not enough that you'd OHKO without it.

Counter for Mega Slowbro (and suicune, incidentally)-
Dark/Water type with Water Absorb. Learns Clear Smog or Acid Spray, taunt, and toxic.

Predict the switch in and Landorus just handed you a free Nasty Plot. On top of that, the vast majority of Landorus invest in Defense, which is naturally higher than their Special Defense.

I favorite part of this is smogon has to completely evaluate it's tier system and just accept that uu is the new nu, ou is the new uu and uber just doesn't exist anymore.

I mean, it is over used... so you ban them to uber which is still the same 7 poke + 1000 arceus forms

Honestly there needs to be a new tier between OU and Ubers thanks to the power creep. All of the current S to A+ rank mons can play there alongside the weaker Ubers so that they can get some love too.
