What was data mined was essentially a beta, common sense dictates that there's more than what was in the demo in the full game and until proven otherwise by sufficient evidence no one should assume that's everything.

You make it sound like they don't have hidden content in pokemon games the most likely scenario is that they've either been told not to reveal them or they just weren't told about them and assumed as such but then that would make them pretty poor journalists.

Like I said, I'm hoping im wrong, but ll evidence is pointing to the contrary. I mean, its already confirmed things like Shiftry arent getting megas, so we cant really use 'it being featured in videos a lot' as justification, just kinda makes me sad.

The demo is probably an earlier build of ORAS. They've been hinting at more for a while now using flyers, trailers, and this poster. Maybe that reddit leaker has finished the main storyline, we could get news on BF/megas if so.
