Except in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, Absol is his strongest Pokemon. I don't know about marketing, but in the context of the game, his signature Pokemon would definitely be Absol.

Yeah, I'd be hyped for a Mega-Breloom, but at the same time I like the design enough how it is now, and it's a solid competitive poke. Flygon is a 3 stage dragon despite how not great it is. Kinda feels like it needs an evo.

There's tons of instances of that on that poster. Magneton but no Magnezone/Magnemite, Zigzagoon but no Linoone, Nosepass but no Probopass, etc. Some evolutionary lines like Metagross are complete though.

There's no way all those Pokemon are getting Megas, assuming there are still undiscovered ones. XY only had a few more Megas than what ORAS has, I highly doubt there would be that many new ones. I can definitely see maybe half those mons getting them though.

Or who knows, maybe ORAS will have a shitton of new Megas.

Well, half of those pokemon could be version exclusives. Let's say these are the version exclusive mega stones:

Of the 41 new megas, you'd only be able to get 31 of the stones. That's about on par with XY.You could even make Dusknoir/Banette exclusives as well and cut that down to 30 stones a game.

Could you imagine it keeping technician, gaining +50 speed and +10 attack, with the rest going into its defenses? I would be wrecking the meta game with spore spam and mach punch clean up crew late game.
