Here's a list of some good but maybe not on a competitive level pokemon that you can find in Hoenn:

Gardevoir / Gallade
Mawile Assuming you get the mega stone for it
Aggron
Ludicolo
Exploud
Breloom
Slaking Truant may be too shitty of an ability for you to have fun using it, but it's not like you'll be playing competitively with this team anyways
Alakazam
Gyarados
Crobat
Flygon
Milotic
Raichu
Walrein
Crawdaunt

Figure out for yourself where to find them, and use common sense when you pick your five from this list. Type synergy is about the only thing that matters in team building for the actual game. Also, this list is definitely not a complete one. There may be other Hoenn pokemon out there that you may like. I suggest actually fucking googling shit or looking it up on Bulbapedo next time.

I know I need a Flying-type, probably Swellow, but I'm not as big a fan of it as I was to the other regional birds. Better than Tranquill, but still low regard.

Mightyena was a real bro though. I feel like I should have it on the main team, or at least on a rotation.
