The general idea is that there's almost no way that the demo didn't come from a beta build of the game implying that there not only can, but most likely is more to it.
Of course assuming this to be the case, this doesn't prove "omg xDD moar megas confirmed!" but it does shut down the opposite side of that faggotry. We simply don't know all there is to the game yet.
