I firmly believe that the Kalos starters will have megas by this time next year

How would you distribute the stat upgrade? For Chesnaught, I'm thinking

>+30 Def
>+20 SpDef

The only way to save it. Not sure about the ability and no clue what to do for Ninjafrog and Furrywizard.

Wouldn't that be too good? How about an ability that works like Bulletproof, but also protects it from priority attacks if Chesnaught isn't preparing an attack. Essentially, it makes every priority move work like sucker punch.

Why would you want to change its hidden ability?

Bulletproof is fucking amazing and stupidly underrated.

Immunity to moves such as Shadow-ball, Sludge bomb, Aura Sphere and Gyro Ball lets it switch in at very unexpected times.
Its not as stupidly offensive as greninja but there aren't many pokemon who have the ability to utterly wall and 1hko mega-gengar with impunity.
Fuck it can even come in on anything running focus blast or aura sphere.

All it needs is 30 points in speed and a little bit more physical bulk and it would be a top tier threat.
And I don't even really like him that much.

HP is good.
Speed is so he has more of a threat presence in OU. Having an at least a decent speed will help him out in the long run.

It's better to just dump all of it into attack, defense and sp.defense. It has Drain Punch and Leech Seed to make up for the HP it might lose during turns anyway.
