Battle Facility trainer data is stored separately from the main games, there's a new area with "Battle" in its name that has yet to be revealed, there is a battle theme with VS Frontier in its name.
It might not be called Battle Frontier anymore, but we're getting something. Seeing how they've answered questions about the Battle Frontier, I'd expect this "Battle Resort" to be closer to a renamed Battle Frontier than a cut-and-pasted Maison.

A Game Freak employee was asked about both customization and the Battle Frontier in the same interview. Customization was given an emphatically negative response, but he declined to give a clear answer with regards to the Battle Frontier, though he also confirmed that move tutors would be returning.
From what we know, it's probably safe to say that there is no longer an area called "Battle Frontier". On the other hand, there is something called a "Battle Resort" which seems to have taken its place. They're likely referring to the index tables for items and Pokemon. Every index entry is accounted for in the demo.
Of course, there's always the chance that the index tables could simply be extended.

Anyway, this still could have been a reference to his size. As if he did maintain his size in brawl, which would make it really wierd to do nowadays, seeing as he's in both Brawl and the Wii U version, to make it not...broken as fuck, he'd have to be super slow. I don't know why he would be slow elsewise.

Also, in addition, while you have scaling up for characters like Olimar...you don't really have someone to compare him to from his own universe in the game. As with Ridley, we have Samus. We /know/ approximately how big Ridley is supposed to be compared to Samus. That is, several times larger.

I guess the point is...in either case, Ridley has reasons why he'd be hard to impliment. As with Flygon...there's no real reason it'd be hard to impliment above any of the other megas, so I don't get /why/ all the never ever talk.

Nobody is arguing that the datamine is fake, the argument is that the datamine would be incomplete, as to get the Demo bug-tested and in working order, they'd need quite a bit of time, so there's a possibility it was taken from a point in the game where a lot of stuff wasn't set in stone.

I can only get the feeling it's the backlash, similar to Ridley. Because a lot of people wanted him, and were vocal about it, people backlashed because...well...let's be honest here. Most of us right now are really fucking bored.
Though there could also be what we'll call for now, the patternfags. Because he's not in this game, the region of his genesis, then there's no chance for him getting a mega. Which I think is dumb, but hey. People can believe what they want to believe.

All in all, though, I think it's the boredom aspect.
Do the Vocal Flygonfags have anything better to do?
Do the Anti-Flygon fags have anything better to do?

The answer is, most likely...No. We're at a waiting point, on the cusp of a new game, all we can do is wait. And do shit on the internet.

Once again, this was early in development. And that wasn't the point of the video, it was to show off the new Fairy Type.

Whereas now, the news is /specifically/ about Kung-Fu Chicken getting the elemental punches.

At this late stage, it seems highly unlikely that they made this mistake.

The idea is that the datamine didn't show it, disproving that the datamine can show us all of what's in ORAS.

Of course, people have also been saying the datamine did show that they were getting new moves, but like with the Move Tutors, didn't have the exact move names laid out to be found.

Then again why wouldnt Blaziken learn it by tutor if that was the case? Thunder Punch and Fire Punch are both compatibile.

Unless it's one of those Psychic Golduck / Energy Ball Ninetales situations I don't see a reason not to.

it had nothing of the sort. it's just that every pokemon findable in the demo has its level-up movepool redacted past whatever level you find them at, and in the case of pokemon you actually use, entirely removes them besides the sets they give you. so it just leaves the door open to those pokemon getting new moves, not necessarily implying that they will.

Linoone, Swellow, Pelipper, Shroomish, Slakoth*, Nincada, Loudred*, Nosepass*, Skitty, Meditite*, Volbeat, Tropius, Chimecho, Absol, Glalie, and Steelix all have incomplete level-up data. the * stuff has evos that they traditionally have learned nothing unique from, so don't get your hopes up for those (i.e. we know exploud gets nothing new by level-up, so even if loudred's level-up data is incomplete, there's no good reason to think it would get anything new).
