And it was when I accidentally found Lugia in the whirlpool caves in Silver, and Rayquaza in that tower in Sapphire.
I didn't knew of their location beforehand, for all other legends I've known because of friends or internet guides or easy access.
I specially remember flipping my shit when finding lugia, going deeper and deeper into the caves instead of retreating.
