>>21738659I figured running Heracross AND Torterra would leave me open to Birdspam. To be honest, I'd be okay with dropping Hera and giving my mega stone to TTar (Torterra's a Pokemon I made a point of including so I don't think I'll drop it). Also, Torterra counters Excadrill pretty hard - resists EdgeQuake and is 3HKO'd by Iron Head.
Also, regarding my problem with Lando-T, Vaporeon does handle it pretty well with Scald:
4 SpA Vaporeon Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 228-270 (71.4 - 84.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
It's a 2HKO on the common Scarf set, plus the chance to burn helps it check Lando pretty well. EQ is a 3HKO back as well.
With the open team slot that Heracross leaves, would you advise running a defogger/spinner then? Also, keep in mind beforehand I was running SR on TTar, though now I'm running DD in its place. Vaporeon is running status, and I'm thinking Rotom might run either Will-O-Wisp or Thunder Wave.
Based on Break My Team, I think what I might actually end up doing is swapping out Vaporeon for Sylveon (despite the smaller Wish-pass) because it walls a lot better. Though the website is pretty outdated, having Aegislash in OU and all.
