>>21702295>Nah, if it was just to help they would have gone with some clear plastic. If I actually had a mega bracelet, I'd know for sure, but I don't.I do. Or did have one, rather. Like I said earlier, ditched it as I wasn't impressed enough to keep it or the stones.
When the contacts complete the circuit, that's what triggers the electronic light in the Key Stone and the sound effects to go off. You can just press against them to achieve the same effect without a stone. When a Mega Stone is plugged in though, it flashes as part of the lights and sound sequence, as a light (probably LED) is inside the Mega Stone itself. I know the Ring has Tretta functionality, not doubting that, but not entirely certain of how exactly the Ring or the Tretta game detects which is inside. No room for RFID like in Kamen Rider OOO toys. It could be the contacts and I just couldn't tell because that's all well-concealed in the back of the Mega Stones.
>>21702520Looking forward to getting the stuff most impressing me out of that bunch on the US Pokémon Center website. That we're more or less keeping up with stuff like that plush makes me so happy, we got all the Halloween plush as far as I saw.
