Think about how absolutely rare an authentic actual ingame shiny is. Most players of pokemon bar maybe the friend safari in gen 6, you know, millions of people, never run into a shiny in pokemon. Not even once.
A shiny pokemon is a mythical rare almost unheard of ingame event in this game.
And everybody knows this. Nobody in their right mind is going to run into a shiny pokemon and just say "lol i'm going to put this up on the GTS"
You're almost always going to be dealing with hackers who just generated an un authentic and sentimentally worthless shiny from a cheat device of disgusting pokegen and uploaded its fake ass to GTS
