There are no new megas. We would know by now if there were, since some people already have the games and have already leaked info and images that are legit.

On top of that, you also have to consider possible translation errors.
There's also the fact that we all got Glalie whilst Japan got Steelix. Now, if you're paying any damn attention, you'd know about Mega Steelix (and vice versa if you're Japanese), but not everyone does that, and so it will be a surprise to some.
Add to that that Game Freak and Nintendo are backwards and forget that the internet exists, and the idea that Mega Steelix or Mega Glalie, depending on your region, being the surprise in the game does make sense.
Finally, I want to add that Hoopa's new form has not been officially revealed (nor Hoopa itself), so there is also that which counts as surprise (well, for some, anyway).
