Replaced IVs with Potential Points. The Potential Value of a Pokemon ranges from 0-186, with babies and legendaries having a minimum of 93. Hatched Pokemon are always within +/- 31 of the parents' average, destiny knot makes it so the baby always has the average. Hidden Power type is hereditary and random in the wild, but it is stronger the more Potential the Pokemon has.
These are a pool of points that can be assigned to any stat, up to a maximum of 31. Gain access to them as you level up. A Potential Guild lets you reset the potential points distribution for a small fee, or you can boost potential through "rigorous training" (as in a hefty fee, long period of time, or game).
Essentially it keeps the randomness and integrity of IVs while being customizable and easy to understand for young players while also making the competitive scene easier.
