ITT: General ideas to improve quality of life that GF will never implement. I'll start, putting the ability to access HMs from the touch screen so you don't have to navigate the pause screen.

And secondly, well I dont think this is totally the fault of GF but having to reconnect to the internet every time you exit to the home menu is annoying.

All Pokemon who could learn a particular HM can use its ability in the field without it taking up a move slot as soon as you've obtained the HM. They can still be learned to be usable in battle too.

Seriously, they serve no purpose. Back in the old days when 75% of the moves in the game sucked, it wasn't so bad, but now it's asking an awful lot to force the player to carry compatible pokemon, and to waste the move slots on shit moves like cut and fly. Just make HMs into items that will allow a Pokemon to cut a tree or fly you around without having to void 25% of their repertoire.

But I agree. Having a button on the touch screen to go straight to TMs and not to have to go through the items pouch would be nice.

Also, when did they stop putting Pokeballs in their own bag pocket? Makes it annoying to take inventory of them.

That is unless you're one of thos "balltism" cunts.
And HMs are a minor issue because they aren't going to hinder your in game experience and as for the postgame you're just going to breed a new team anyway.
Now, I'm not defending HMs but there isn't a reason to complain especially when we have the battle box.

Way to change your Hidden Power type. Having it dependent on IVs is such bullshit and makes breeding really fucking tedious. Just make it random at the start or something, then have an NPC be able to change it.

Also, have the IV checker guy right there at the daycare.

Covering the level of the mon is a non issue considering you'll see the level before getting a status effect and your pokemon will be auto leveled to 50 in the only place it matters.

It's back, but it's a goddamn Champion's Estate. It has your mansion (serves as secret base), a Pokemon Center/Mart, Daycare (IV Judge based here), Berry Farm, Move Center (Move Reminder, Deleter, and Tutors housed here), and Friend Safari, and a Champion's Gym (equivalent to Maison where NPCs come to challenge you) all on a single long stretch of road for bike simulation.

i got a Giratina off of WonderTrade. if you want WonderTrade to be better help people like us. Stop putting up Luvdiscs and Fletchlings you piece of shit.

If it's a legendary or hard to find starter that you aren't going to use and it's just going to sit in your box put it in Wonder Trade and make the community better. Its not that hard. If you breed a bunch of Starters/Non-Region pokes put them on WonderTrade. it's not that hard.

Most the assholes crying about WonderTrade are the same cunts putting up Weedles. Get fucked boy.

Sorry being angry but I hate people who complain about WonderTrade. WonderTrade and GTS are fucking great. And the people that complain about them are usually the same people shitting them up with garbage.

I breed HA Torchic with 5IV's, put them ALL up on wondertrade, and didn't get A SINGLE THING worth keeping.

Wondertrade is fucking shit, currently. There needs to be tier's in it, were people are ranked based on what they give.

Reminds me of Mystery Dungeon's game mechanics where you could acces the dungeon that required fly or dive by having the HM in your bag. (Though you're limited to three-fours pokemon per dungeon, so it makes sense not to use any moveslot with a HM, while six mon plus PC makes it manageable.)

Good in theory, but in practice it punishes honest users who unknowingly possess illegal Pokemon and/or have inconsistent connections

Otherwise not a bad idea, I kind of like the randomness though.

And I really wouldn't mind if they added the option to check the stats/moves on a GTS mon.
I'm sure that many have had their fun with trading 6IV Impostor Ditto, but getting something uncommon with a certain egg move or HA is a total crap shoot now.

Fucking this. No one likes 3v3. Hell, doubles should be 6v6 as well since the only reason to play 4v4 is to keep matches short for 2 out of 3 tournament matches. There's no point limiting it online. Agreed with multi-battles too, I want to play them but it's a pain in the ass to set up. While we're at it, online Multi-battle Maison.

Also, just give VGC its own dedicated ladder. There's no reason why they can't practice year round because they have to lose their ladder to a bunch of gimmick formats.

I did that in reverse.
Put up something decent and simply ask for the poke you need.
I guess you could lie, but I just used some breeding leftovers.
Never had to wait more than 60 minutes.

Wanting a certain move or HA on your poke almost never works though.
People tend to be faggots and just send whatever. Got my Defog Scyther and Pebbles Skarm through WT in the end.

You can actually get one as low as level 3 in FRLG through an in-game trade, but only the people with the most autism would be able to capitalize on that fact

I did that for the missing legendaries I needed. Extra Latios for Latias, Zekrom for Reshiram, and I think Dialga for Landorus.

Never had any luck doing that for regular Pokemon, but that could be because Glameow was in like one game.

I was pleasantly surprised as to how effective it was for me. Just put up some 4IV Turtwigs or whatever with Egg moves and asked for stuff.
Or a Slowpoke with King's Rock and asking for a Slowking, and then trade my new Slowking to someone else who has a King's Rock Slowpoke on the GTS, doing that cycle a few times to help others with the same problem.
