Never really collected. Hoenn stuff I found in storage, must've got them when I was younger. The Unova stuff were just little gifts from family.

7/7. My bed has a ton more plushies on it, so I singled the Pokemon out. Of course, I would've also wanted to post my manga and book collection, but they requires shifting through the attic for a ton of stuff. McDonald's toys, T-shirts, games, etc. --And I'm usually pretty clean with my room and stuff, but right now, it's messy (and badly lighted) because I'm packing stuff up before I move to Japan for a few years to work. Don't worry. I've got conditioned storage for this stuff, so it'll all be safe until I potentially return (and not melted during the summer).

I miss all my old things. I had a complete sticker album, a shit ton of base set/fossil/jungle cards, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, LeafGreen... All my shit either got stolen or sold without thinking it through because I was 10 years old and retarded.

Quite the contrary. Me and my girlfriend have been together since before I got most of this stuff, and though it looks all expensive, it's only really the Pokemon cards that cost a fortune as a whole (a lot of these figures came as bonus figures to the card packs). The rest wasn't exactly cheap when put together, but I got them mostly out of Japanese arcades, where I'm really good at winning prizes. With a quick look around, I probably spent about $500 total on all of the figures, including shipping prices (no handling fee, since I shipped them cheap myself). Individually, the most expensive mercandise in these photos that I own are the two poseable figures for Satoshi/Serena ($30 together) and the barely-visible B2W2 badge collection, which was $50. The rest came from arcade prizes for cheap (upwards of $10 total) or really clever'lucky ichiban-kuji lottery purchases from Lawson's.

The key is budgeting yourself before you go. Scout out the arcade the day before or research the campaigns. Check out the stores and how quickly lottery prizes disappear. Etc. Put some actual thought into it and you can come out rich for really cheap.
