didnt see it in the catalog, who is downloading oRaS as opposed to getting hardcopy? im really debating it right now i can get either on launch but considering i just purchased Y not to long ago im thinking digital download is the route..

Until developers realize that shipping hard copies costs more than digital downloads, always buy hard copies.
Getting a physical product is almost always better than digital if it costs the same.

Cart every time. If you get a problem with your 3DS or the screen smashes or something you won't have lost all your non-banked pokemon. With the new 3DS coming out soon it also makes things easier when you upgrade.

digital is a shit load cheaper since I have a Japanese 3ds and would have to import a physical copy and wait for it to arrive. I got 500 off the digital version on amazon for getting the demo code too.
I'll probably get a physical one day down the line, like when it drops in price. But day 1 I'm getting digital

Reason I get Cart > Digital is the fact (Mainly with Pokemon) that you can trade with yourself using a second console, if you download both onto a the same console you have to wait to see a friend to get good natured/iv'd trade evolution.
If your not interested in the competitive side however, Download + Pokebank does the job.

I'm downloading my copy of OR. I bought a bigger SD card just for it. I normally purchase physically copies, but I was so let down with the XY preorders. I bought New Leaf when it came out as a digital copy and I've never been more impressed. Since I carry my 3DS with me everywhere it's nice to have all my games in one spot and not have to dig through my wallet. Also if you're going to play it continuously, then why even both having it not on your system?
