>>21761033>too much waterYou literally don't surf for more than a minute until you've beat 6 Gym Leaders and go through the Team Magma/Aqua hideout, and then there's only the 3 towns to travel to (one being entirely optional), the underwater place with Groudon/Kyogre and the Pokemon League. You can fly between all the places once you visit them once and you only need to go to the underwater cavern once.
Also, that HM complaint is fucking redundant considering they REMOVED HMs like Flash and made them easily over-writeable TMs instead, not to mention that only 4 HMs are mandatory to progress the story.
