In 1st generation, you could use the accuracy one to make OHKO moves always hit.

I used a ton of them to boost my SpD in Pearl while trying to capture Azelf who kept spamming Nasty Plot. They're useful in certain situations.

Should try doing a low level or no exp run and then talk about how x items are useless. They're also great in speedruns.

They are used by speedrunners to beat pokemon way over their levels. Probably useful if you run into trouble because you're a scrub too.

Sometime during a playthrough I'm rushing to get more of a version exclusive 1 time legendary I'll buy some spd/atk/pots and rotate between the three items until I have a top speed sweeper and beat any E4 I'm underleveled for.
