I'm fucking hype.
I like pokemon more for raising a team, going on a cozy little adventure, and playing with friends than I do for battling, so this game looks top tier in my eyes. I understand there are people in it for the battles so it makes sense the lack of a BF bothers them but I don't care, I'm just hype for more pokemon fun.

While growing up my family had some harsh times just around the gba era, so I had to stop playing videogames almost up to the wii era. I saw how my friends enjoyed the shit out of rse and the gamecube games and felt a little left out to be honest. Battle Frontier wasn't really that great to me, and Enmerald was my very first game. All it had going for it was tutors, Smeargle and Sudowoodo (which can all be put in the normal gameplay), and the Brains, which you had to fight through 20 generic AI trainers just to get to, 48 if you wanted the Gold Symbol.

Yeah, I'm a little bummed too. Still, the game looks fun regardless. Most routes look comfy as fuck, story seems enjoyable, delta episode is fucking bananas and I love it.

Except that's the route someone would take if they didn't like it after all, GF wouldn't know why western sales dropped and would most likely think it's to do with the new additions regardless of if they're good or not.
Anyway, fan would either buy it to keep the series that remains fun for them going or at the very least try to contact GF employees. Twitter seems to be the best option for that route.

I agree this is a wise thing to do. But it shows how Steam is so far ahead. The community feedback there is direct and allows devs to fix bugs and stuff easily.
