Randomly generating pokemon in game managed to scramble the game around and reveal a few extra routes and town-names in X/Y.

Extra region exists bro, it exists. Odds of extra poke are low, but that region exists unless they left a load of dead town/route names in the code for no rasin.

Powesave fag here. Had the game give me all items. Don't know if any of this is news but.

A fuck ton of relic items crown coins etc. from a civilization 3000 years ago. A keystone for a tower that strange voices can be heard from. The x atk etc items go up to 6 now. There's items that activate your allies items or abilities. Lots of incense, gems, apricorn balls. Some colored shards that look like they came from a tool.

That's just the shit they leave in the games fron older ones. The relic items from an old civilation sounds like the diving shit from BW2. Stuff like that.

Pass Orb
A mysterious orb containing the power of the Unova region. to be used when generating pass power.

So it looks like there's a bunch of Unova items now.

Also looks like the relic items are from there as well. Never played that gen. Guess they either left the stuff in the coding or they plan on using it again.

the thing is they built a new engine for gen 6
I guess it could be based on the gen 5 engine but I I dont think it'd be like the gen 1 - 2 jump or 4 - 5 jump where it's just an upgraded version of the previous engine and things like item tables and stuff roll over

If you guys remember before XY were released, they were still considering the possibility of completely locking Gen 6 out and removing trading from previous versions. The item indexers have to do their job much before this decision was made, so basically, they had to at least make placeholders for the possibility that items could be traded up from Gen V.
